Sarah is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  She has expertise in representing employers in all types of matters arising out of the employment relationship, including, but not limited to, litigation defense, investigations, compliance and litigation avoidance, counseling on day-to-day employee relations (discipline, terminations, accommodations) and training. 

Sarah has first chair trial experience in both federal and state courts. She represents clients in state and federal courts, the U.S. Department of Justice, EEOC, NLRB, U.S. Department of Labor, OFCCP, and the Texas Workforce Commission.  Sarah has specific experience in the areas of:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (discrimination, harassment and retaliation based on sex, national origin, religion, color and race)

Additionally, Sarah practices in the area of commercial and business litigation.  She has a broad reach of experience from obtaining temporary retraining orders and injunctions to navigating complex business disputes.  Sarah has a unique business acumen after having spent four years as in-house counsel to two publicly trade corporations working with business leaders and executives on complex business decisions and disputes.
