People the world over celebrate the new year in various ways—fireworks, black-eyed peas, bonfires, eating 12 grapes at midnight. This year, we prefer to ring in 2023 with two new partners: Stephanie Matherne and Kim Winnubst.

Stephanie represents clients in all aspects of family law. Her work in matters of divorce, custody and child support, pre- and postnuptial agreements, property division, tracing of separate and community property, and mediation has earned her not only her clients’ appreciation, but also professional accolades including Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch and Texas Rising Stars.

Kim is an adroit commercial litigator, trusted to handle her clients’ most complex business matters in state and federal courts, multi-district litigation, and in alternative dispute resolution forums. Her work on matters involving business disputes, commercial contract litigation, consumer fraud, and deceptive trade practices has earned her Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch and Texas Rising Stars honors.

So, while setting a pile of damp peat on fire sounds “intriguing,” we will stick with celebrating the accomplishments of Stephanie and Kim, with a look forward to all they will achieve in 2023 and beyond.
